Plagiarism Policy

International Multidisciplinary Journal of Science, Technology, and Business (IMJSTB) has a strict plagiarism policy. All manuscripts submitted to the journal are checked for plagiarism using a variety of software tools and techniques. If plagiarism is detected, the manuscript will be rejected and the author may be banned from submitting to the journal in the future.

IMJSTB defines plagiarism as the act of using someone else's work or ideas without giving them proper credit. This includes copying text word-for-word, paraphrasing without attribution, and using someone else's ideas without citing the source.

Plagiarism examples:

  • Copying text word-for-word from another source without quotation marks or a citation
  • Paraphrasing another source's work without attribution
  • Using another source's ideas without citing the source
  • Submitting a manuscript that has been published elsewhere without proper disclosure
  • Submitting a manuscript that is co-authored with someone who has not made a significant contribution to the work

Consequences of plagiarism:

  • Manuscripts that are found to contain plagiarism will be rejected
  • Authors of plagiarized manuscripts may be banned from submitting to the journal in the future
  • Plagiarism may also have serious consequences for the author's academic career or professional reputation

To avoid plagiarism:

  • Make sure to cite all of your sources, both direct and indirect
  • Use quotation marks when copying text word-for-word from another source
  • Paraphrase carefully and be sure to attribute the original source
  • Do not submit manuscripts that have been published elsewhere without proper disclosure
  • Be sure that all co-authors have made a significant contribution to the work

If you suspect that plagiarism has occurred:

  • Please contact the journal editor immediately
  • The editor will investigate the matter and take appropriate action

IMJSTB is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity. By following the journal's plagiarism policy, authors can help to ensure that their work is original and that proper credit is given to all sources.
