Archiving Policy

The International Multidisciplinary Journal of Science, Technology, and Business (IMJSTB) is committed to the long-term preservation of its published content. To this end, the journal has adopted the following archiving policy:

All articles published in IMJSTB are archived with the following organizations:

  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)
  • CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS)
  • Portico

These organizations are non-profit digital preservation initiatives that provide a distributed archiving service for scholarly journals. They do this by creating and maintaining multiple copies of each article on their servers, located in different parts of the world. This ensures that articles published in IMJSTB will be accessible to readers even if the journal's website is unavailable or ceases to exist.

In addition to archiving with these organizations, IMJSTB also maintains its own archive of all published articles. This archive is stored on a secure server and is backed up regularly. This ensures that IMJSTB has a complete copy of all its published content, even if the archives maintained by LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, and Portico are unavailable.

IMJSTB also encourages authors to deposit their articles in their institutional repositories. This helps to further ensure the long-term preservation of IMJSTB articles and makes them more accessible to readers around the world.

IMJSTB's archiving policy is in accordance with the best practices for scholarly journal archiving. By archiving its content with multiple organizations, IMJSTB is ensuring that its articles will be accessible to readers for many years to come.
